:: Amsterdam - Day 2 @ Zaanse Schans ::

Destination 3: Zaanse Schans (until now I still cannot memorise this name..)

We started our exploration by travelling to a Holland village which was said in the brochure to be just a 15-minute trip away to north Amsterdam. However, it took us about 45 - 60 minutes journey using a local bus from Amsterdam Centraal to Zaanse Schans. What is so unique about this place? What until you see the photos taken there...

Lunch time : Smuller
We had a simple snack while waiting for the train to Madurodam.

Second destination : Madurodam

From Leiden Centraal, we took another train to Madorodam.. this is also the same exchange place to take another bus to Keukenhof if you are taking a train from Amsterdam. A package consists of bus ticket plus the Keukenhof entrance fee cost Euro 20 per person.

Finally, we checked-in to our hotel room.

:: Amsterdam - Day 1 @Keukenhof Garden ::

Preparation for the trip:

1. Booked the P & O ferry trip from Hull to Europort and a bus coach from Europort to Amsterdam.
2. Booked a place to stay in Amsterdam. Hotels in Amsterdam can be quite expensive as the euro currency exchange is quite high. At first we booked a different hotel, but eventually we got an offer for an exclusive hotel near the Schiphol Airport so I immediately cancelled the previous booking and booked for this one. Check this out. Impressive, huh?
3. Bought the HollandPass which we can choose a maximum of 5 trips or entrance fees including many interesting places in Netherlands.
4. Changed some cash money at the post office.

First destination : Keukenhof Garden
