:: Angel of the North, Newcastle ::
The 'Angel of the North' was commissioned by Gateshead Council and created by Anthony Gormley. This is the largest sculpture in Britain and is perhaps seen by around 33 million people every year. Work started in July 1997 and it was completed in February 1998.

:: Scotland Trip : Day 3 New Castle and Durham ::
It was on Bank Holiday (late summer holiday). We had the opportunity to meet Kak Awie and Najmy (new castle) and Kak Ayu and Fendi (Durham). Kak Awie and Najmy, really appreciate the trip to the strawberry picking and the picnic. We had lots of fun except for the rain part.. Kak Ayu.. thanks for your hospitality...
